Operation Sleigh Shine 2019

This year has been great. Four years ago I did not think it would have grown like this. This year we had the pleasure to work on SSgt Kevin Ferguson's automobile. A 2012 Ford Fiesta. Wow what a little car. SSgt Ferguson has been a Marine for over 17 yrs. His family moved to Brunswick, Maine three years ago. Since the move he and his family have been part of programs such as Safe Family for Children of Maine, they have also been part of AWANA organization . Additionally they have supported their community through Pathway Vineyard which provides Thanksgiving baskets for those in need.

During the 2017/2018 Toys For Tots campaign he coordinated with local churches to take all the cloths that is not considered toys to distribute to the families in need. We reached out to First Sergeant Kevin L Kurlas and asked him who he thought would be deserving of our project Operation Sleigh Shine this year and immediately SSgt Ferguson and his family were suggested. So we got to work and reached out to our friends From FLEX North America, P&S auto detailing products, and DRC 1000 buffing pads to see what we could do for this deserving family. With the help from Flex we found a distributor that managed to donate a brand new machine to put toward one of our small Detail Mafia Raffles. This raised over $1000.00 to the cause. That was just the beginning. We also manage to reach out to some of the smaller local business a collected many gifts for the family that we packaged and wrapped for the reveal. Next came the man power.
